Musical Storytelling performance with technology – 16-19 years +

VÅR is a musical narrative performance based on the warrior woman Hervor. This project ducks down in the friction between the individual and the collective, between oral narrative art and technology. The aim was to create a performance in interaction between oral narrative art, the musical and technology. The project will explore how the listener’s inner imagination and memory are influenced by the technological aspect. The foundation for this storytelling performance is a Nordic saga about a female warrior who breaks with family and social ties to achieve a legacy that is greater than herself.
