Meditative performance / light art / music - 6-12 years

The jazz improvisation trio Parallax has, in collaboration with lighting artist Elisabeth Kjeldahl Nilsson, developed a performance that lies on the borderland between concert and performance. The performance moves within clear musical and visual frameworks, but since both musicians and lighting designers improvise, there are great variations in the expression, and each performance becomes unique. The close interaction between sound and light is essential. And an arena is created where there is room for calm and sensual experience, which can stand as a counterpoint to what children often experience through various media, where the pace is high and the impressions are many.
