Folk music & folk dance – 3-5 years

Folkebarna convey melodies, halling, dance, folk music and folk dance traditions to the youngest. Through shows, folk tunes and dance games, they take the children into a universe where different animals, fairy tale characters, people and folk instruments meet. The children get to see and hear the instruments fiddle, they get to dance halling and get to know the folk music through inolvoment both through experience and activities. During their stay at Seanse, Marit and Guro got to explore the artistic and pedagogical potential and have a performance with a children’s audience. The goal is to offer both a concert performance and a music pedagogical workshop for kindergarten children.
