BLINDGJENGAR
The stage text "Blindgjengar" by Ole Henrik Risøy Solheim explores loneliness, belonging and blindness to oneself. The plot follows a man who lives in an undefined place far away from others. One day he meets another man; a meeting that will define his security and self-awareness. Through various memories and situations, the play depicts what it means to be human, why some choose to leave and why others choose to stay. The target group for the stage text is young adults. During the stay at SEANSE, the main focus was to explore the characters through various exercises with and without text, as well as conversations. The artist residency has, with input and inspiration from both mentors and performers, meant that the material has developed significantly, and look forward to further development.
