Afghanistans modige geit
Fairy tale - 3-6 years
Afghanistan's brave goat is today a bilingual narrator, visual art and music performance in Norwegian and Dari (Afghan Persian). The fairy tale is built around a methodology for multilingual storytelling that has been developed by the Storytelling House since 2006. A creative play with language where it is an important goal that everyone in the audience should understand the whole plot, regardless of language background. The whole performance is told in Norwegian and Dari in parallel, but not everything is repeated in two languages. During the stay, the group worked on adapting the fairy tale into a children's book consisting of pictures and text that can be read in both Norwegian and Dari in the same book.
