ARTIST IN RESIDENCE 2026

The residence are arranged in June and October. In total of 20 to 25 art projects will be granted residence in 2026.

Seanse offers:

• Good working conditions in own premises
• Supervision of mentors with artistic and pediatric expertise
• Participation in an interdisciplinary artist college
• Fees, travel and accommodation.• Photo/video documentation.
  
  

In addition to considering all applications, we encourage projects with themes related to social and global engagement to apply for residency!
Art can contribute to change by being a catalyst for transformation, both for individuals and society.

Since 2004, over 975 artists, national and international involved in 379 productions have been on artist residencies. Seance’s goal is to contribute to quality productions, competence development and innovation in art for and with children, young people and others.

All applications are considered. In addition to the completing the application form, we ask you to upload the following attachments:

• CV to all involved
• Budget – planned costs for the realization of the project (own work effort, expenses such as renting location, equipment, marketing etc.)
• Funding plan - granted and applied for/planned applications for support, including own contribution if it that is intended

In the budget and funding plan, we are interested to see expenses, how it is intended to be financed, what support you have been granted and what support you intend to apply, excluding the support of Seanse.
