Alternative photography - 5-19 years

Galina Manikova is a visual artist and worked this week to develop a workshop for children. The workshop focuses on image production based on old light-sensitive photoemulsions and the production of images on fabric using a contact copying process in sunlight. The processes are slow, so that the image production itself becomes a kind of "happening", where several people have to work together for a common goal. People can work independently or in groups, adults with children. The process is about photo transfer on various materials such as watercolor paper, textiles, metal, glass, ceramics and wood.
