Ticket to Paradise is an interactive children's show based on the Kon-Tiki expedition. We meet two children on a beach in a country that is starting to run out of water. They try to build a fleet while retelling the story of Thor Heyerdahl and his journey. The performance sheds light on what today's "fleet" and "water" symbolize, and asks questions such as; what can one do to live together in peace on the same planet? The audience is involved in how the performance ends; do the two children travel on or not? Whether traveling or staying on the beach - do they survive or not?
