WE BECOME TREES

We become trees thematizes humanity's relationship with nature. A line is drawn from the prehistoric use of costumes and masks as a way to approach nature, to today's clothing and fashion that also uses prints and patterns taken from nature. These vastly different ways of "dressing in nature" are brought together to reflect on the view of nature throughout time, and asks the question of whether there is a distinction between the nature within us and the nature around us.
