Tightrope
An interactive workshop with the aim of exploring childhood memories and identity through art. Growing up in Iran, illness isolated me and shaped my journey as a queer individual. In Norway, painting has become a way to re-imagine childhood dreams. Participants will paint their own childhood portraits, culminating in a collaborative artwork that reflects different interpretations and shared experiences. This project transcends boundaries, celebrating the power of art to connect and heal. Whether through collage, painting, installation or puppetry, the final piece will be a living tapestry of humanity. Through this workshop, I hope to empower participants to reclaim their narratives and embrace creative expression.
