This is a music and theater performance based on Jan-Magnus Bruheim's children's book of the same name. The folk music trio Tindra has set the tone to the 61 verses in rhyme and take us on a musical journey together with Helge Jordal. The foresight is about a deer calf that differs from the other deer of which he is white. When his mother is shot by a hunter, he is left to fend for himself. Through words and tones, a deer follows its struggle to survive, win love and find fellowship. The White Deer is a musical story about racism and bullying, but also gives hope for the future.
