Deus ex machina

"We want to create a performance that draws inspiration from the Norwegian TV show "Pompel og Pilt" and uses exoskeletons as unique choreographic tools. "Deus ex machina" aims to reinterpret the show's iconic elements (characters’ mechanical movements, repetitive rhythm, observational narration, surrealism), creating a modern "fairy tale" with dark aspects that can resonate with children on a more abstract level. The performance engages in a dialogue about suitable art content for kids, echoing the controversy of "Pompel og Pilt," with the intention of facilitating children's transition to an adult audience."
