Ghost Town

Ghost Town is a research and performance project initiated by dance artists Hiba Harashog Jumana Dabis. They want to focus on the vulnerable lives of Palestinian children living in Hebron. The project is carried out together with, and for children. Workshop with this target group will result in a dance film that will tour schools, theater stages and gallery rooms. One of the goals of Ghost Town is to facilitate and promote creative cultural initiatives in Hebron. Studies show that children and young people growing up here undergo traumatic experiences in the event of recurring clashes with Israeli military forces. The artists behind the project want to facilitate a workshop that focuses on creating safe spaces for children and young people to express themselves in.
