Å falle av verden
Theater performance - Youth
The theatrical performance "Falling off the world" addresses difficult topics such as suicide, self-harm, anxiety and depression. Every year, an average of 530 suicides are registered in Norway. Suicide accounts for approx. 30% of all deaths in young people under 24 years of age. More young boys die of suicide in this age group than in the same target group in traffic. Depression often occurs for the first time in childhood or adolescence and shows a high degree of continuity into adulthood. It is therefore of great importance to prevent, identify early and give the right treatment to children and young people. The performance "Falling off the world" wants to meet this need. It is produced in collaboration with the organization Adults for Children (VfB), the National Association for Suicide and Self-Harm (LFSS) and employees of LEVE. These are professional consultants during the idea and development phase, and during the production and will follow up the tour with workshops and talks after the performances.
