Fire Friheters Fanzine
Graphic workshop - 16-19 years
Fanzine is a special magazine with an idealistic basis and contains a combination of graphics, drawings, images and text. It is easy to make and cheap to mass produce and distribute. The only thing you need to make these magazines is time and dialogue. Otherwise you can use things from nature, boss, clippings and different variants of letter stamps. Karen Helga Maurstig and Bess Frimodig are visual artists and both work with graphic techniques in their own artistic work. "Fire Friheters Franzine" is a magazine intended to be produced together with young people from asylum reception centers and students from upper secondary school, where one can express oneself about what can be a dignified life through pictures and collage, dialogue and text with a background in the four freedoms that forms the basis of human rights: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from distress and from anxiety.
