The cockroach with the ugly coat… and the head full of sad thoughts.
Depression is a topic that is difficult to deal with. There is a need for more tools that adults and children can use to talk about depression at the same time as the topic should be raised and highlighted. This is a theater performance for the primary school where they get to follow a cockroach who has his head full of sad thoughts on his journey out of the depression. The strong theme is made available through a playful art form, which opens up for communication among the audience and their friends and families. Through the action, the children will learn how to talk about sadness, both to be able to help themselves and others who are not so well. The performance combines theater and animation to create a magical world where children should be engaged enough to allow themselves to feel and reflect on their own emotions.
