Lost boys

Boy? Man? Man-boy or boy-man? Or none of the parts? Lost Boys is a stage text for young people in developing. It is inspired by Peter Pan and the myth of “The Lost Boys”. The text describes four men and their relationship to the experience of loss – and losing. The psychological defeat is put under the microscope, but also the social / structural space of opportunity that arises when as a man, has lost some of his capacity, status and / or social capital. Masculinity – and the privileges that may follow, are explored as obstacles to the unfolding of identity. At Seanse, the artists have worked with the different characters and dialogues they have with each other.
