360Formidling
Digital dissemination – 9-11 years
How about exploring a stave church in Western Norway on your own while living in Nordland? 360’Formidling gives children and young people the opportunity to make discoveries in the cultural heritage using digital tools. Cultural monuments are 3D scanned and linked with stories and interactive experiences. In this way, the participants can explore the cultural monument on their own without challenges such as geography, season, or large physical masses with footprints damaging the monument. At Seanse, 360’Formidling has worked to strengthen the narrative in the models, as well as conducted a trial of some of the models in a 4th grade. Both students and teachers appreciated this and provided useful and constructive feedback.
