Jorda rundt på 29 bokstaver

Fabularium Produksjoner

Installation / theatre - 6-9 years

Around the world in 29 letters is a journey in a paper landscape. First the journey goes to A and Argentina, before moving on to Brazil and so on. A concept where different cultures are shown to the children, but where their own journey through the performance creates meaning. Fabularium Productions creates paper art installations where large maps are folded in and out to create new places and new letters on the journey. The actuality of letters and their sounds, and a further fabrication around their form and possible content may also be central. They want to explore how to create curiosity about countries and letters through scenic action and scenographic moods. For example. Large paper fans can be the entrance to China, while in Japan we can find trees with flowers in paper floating in a calm sea. For children, learning letters is also about discovering a new world; first you discover the letters, then the words, and finally you "see" words everywhere. The world expands when it gets a new language. You can discover completely new perspectives that you have not seen before, which open up new understandings of yourself and the world around you.
