Skeive Toner is a solo performance for young people and adults with music, dance and storytelling. The production conveys Emilie's personal queer story through poetry, playing the harding fiddle and halling dance. Emilie uses stories from her own life and opens up about her journey as an activist and artist in several African countries where homosexuality is criminalised. The production focuses both on the personal journey of liberation, as well as global power structures that maintain and make it challenging for many people to live openly and freely in their own power and love.
