Dance and storytelling - 7-10 years
The performance is based on the Greek myth of Ariadne and Theseus, which, among other things, deals with themes such as longing and freedom. By combining dance and storytelling, an ambiguous expression is created where the two art forms complement each other. How the story can be conveyed at the same time as the dance is a major focus during the process. By crossing over and examining their artistic expressions, the marked distinction between dancer and narrator is erased. The thread and skein is a clear visual element and object that creates connections, lines and changes in the room. The narrative is not illustrated, but leaves room for the audience to create more and new images of what they experience, see and hear.
