Children explore the world through play. Solheim and Barth develop a play for children from 0-3 years where they place themselves in a toy box and curiously explore various objects and movements. Many of the children will meet the theater for the first time. Therefore, Solheim and Barth will develop expressions that can create a safe space at the same time as they open up for curiosity about the colors, movements and sounds that occur during the performance. One method they want to use to create this safe space is to adapt the energy level in relation to the reactions of the children, by being responsive, present and taking them seriously.
