Contemporary dance and pop music – 13-16 years

A DJ usually needs a dance floor, and a dance floor often needs a DJ. The DJ / Dancefloor project aims to explore the oceans that arise in the meeting between a DJ and a dance floor, and the potential dynamics and dialogues that exist there. Both Andrea Winsnes and Marie Sahba has experience as a DJ, as well as a creative and performing artist (dance and music). Through an interactive performance with children and young people, they want to explore the interaction in a performative and choreographic practice. Perhaps the exploration can lead to an exciting cross between contemporary art and pop culture, and between social and artistic experiences?
