Secrets of the Retiro Park

The children's book "The Secrets of Retiro Park" by Laila Merethe Wilhelmsen and Emma Karoline (11), is an adventure for book and stage, where fact and fiction go hand in hand. In "The Secrets of Retiro Park" important eras, real people and real events from the legendary park in Molde are described. The book also has a fact box that can be used as a learning resource.

An adaptation of the book into a theater performance for grades 1-4 is planned, and the performance can eventually be continued to, for example, Den kulturellter skolesekken. The book is a contribution to preserving the intangible cultural heritage of Villa Retiro, and a campaign letter for the future of the park.
