Pink Helicopter

"Rosa Helikopter" explores substance abuse in close relationships from a relative's perspective. Through dance, music, interviews with relatives, and personal experiences from dance artists Lothe and Nilseng, material is created that is fused with cultural references from different eras of their lives. From two different generations, periods from the 60s to the present day are explored. Wrapped in aesthetics, iconic songs and clothes from different eras, the stories come to life through dance, text and film. By illuminating substance abuse in close relationships, the project can be a catalyst for reflection, conversation and prevention.
