Knots

The performance Knots is based on the French expression "je me suis mise dans de beaux draps" ("I am entangled in fine sheets"), which means that I have gotten myself into a difficult situation. In this performance, the performing artist animates a 6x6 m cotton canvas that comes to life; sculptural images emerge, formations are created by the dancer's body in interaction with the heavy, large material. The performance has come a long way and is in the final phase of production.
