"New music for small people" is a mixture of pure concert and participation from the children. Norwegian contemporary music is a genre children rarely encounter in their everyday lives, the aim is therefore to expand children's perceptions of what music is. Through visual and musical expression, the goal is to create a whole where children are drawn into the world of contemporary music and have the opportunity to discover a whole new world of sound. Children are also encouraged to talk about what they have experienced through music and get tools to be able to listen actively.
