“Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, trolls and princesses.” Teater Joker invites you into the magical world of fairy tales, with stories about heroism, heartbeat, ingenuity, strange creatures, scary creatures, princesses, trolls and beloved treasures. Three practitioners, two women and a man, roll out a blanket and play fairy tales from Norway and the world. With simple steps, worlds are created out of “nothing”. Teater Joker tells old fairy tales with theatrical touches for a new generation; because as once upon a time, there was a now.
