Signs to a Periscope will explore what kind of signs, words and scribble that may interact with different people, and places. They have created a toolbox for an art workshop where participants can use letters to make visual signs, pictures, or words if they want. They have crayons, needles and thread, and a periscope – a tool to see through, which the participants can explore jointly. What combinations of tools are needed to make use of the classroom space and material they have? Each workshop will be in dialogue with the participants and the place where it will be conducted. At Seanse, the artists also explored the alphabet and made small art books in the process.
