Ceramics workshop - 13-15 years

The project is about using nature's own raw materials to create an understanding of the importance nature has, has had and will have for humans. The artist wants to show how one can use "scrap" that others have thrown away to create something beautiful and useful. Can we make art out of rubbish? The children get to learn about nature, reuse and environmental protection and how natural resources can be linked to art. Clay is the main material, but the children will also be able to collect their own material from nature, with a focus on the process of how something is made.
