Performance, Visual - 4 - 8 years

Did you know that we have a lot of water inside us? Did you know that if we take all the water inside us, we can make an entire ocean? Tidevann is a performance on an overhead projector about the sea. With objects and images collected along the coast, a visual narrative is created filled with questions, wonder and facts about life in and around the sea. After the performance, the artists open up a conversation about the theme and share their own stories about the sea. The participants are then invited to discover the optical world of the overhead and in groups create their own stories based on the conversation which is then shown on the overhead. Tidevann is also part of the larger ongoing collaborative project "The Sea and Us" which has been worked on since 2020 and where both were part of the artist collective ZIP Collective in Bergen.
